Starting my Third Wood Carving

For my Third Woodcarving I thought I would try doing a relief wood carving.

First I used carbon paper to trace out the outline of the scene that I wanted to carve.


Then I used a jig-saw to cut around the outline of the carving to get it pretty close to the final shape for the carving.

This carving is being done in MDF, and I am hoping it will be easier than the pine that my first two carvings were in.
